Michigan State University's Office of the Controller supports the financial integrity and stewardship of the university by maintaining financial systems, issuing the annual financial statements, and providing for and monitoring internal controls. It ensures fiscal compliance and outstanding customer service (to units and to parents and students) offering dynamic training programs and by continually improving systems (Kuali, Finance, Payroll, Travel, Student Billing, Student Loans, Tax, PCI governance, etc.) and strategically aligning staff for optimal outputs and efficiency.
