Greetings MSU Finance!
It is with mixed emotions that I announce the departure of Jeff Rayis, Assistant Vice President for the Office of Treasury and Financial Management.
During his seven-year tenure at MSU, Jeff has had an enormous impact on the university's financial programs. He spearheaded the establishment of a Master Lease Purchase Program, achieving significant cost savings on large equipment purchases. His collaboration with University Advancement led to the implementation of a new Donor Advised Fund program, enhancing both financial flexibility and donor engagement. Jeff introduced a new ultra-short investment segment, and developed MSU's first internal payment conference to address university-wide needs and identify solutions. His leadership was pivotal in the Century Bond project and the organization of the successful Banker Day. Additionally, he led the innovative Blockchain Bond project, demonstrating his forward-thinking approach to financial strategy. Jeff's contributions extended beyond MSU as he represented the university through numerous speaking engagements at regional and national conferences, further solidifying MSU's reputation in financial circles.
Please join me in wishing Jeff all the best in his future endeavors!
Sincerely,
Rebecca
